Wow Reid said Obama isn't
tough enough on Republicans. While I agree Obama needs to quit trying to work with these idiots, let's not forget Reid is the lead guy in the Senate, you know the same Senate that keeps stalling things, and threaten filibusters with REID caving in. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

4. oh get real please
Edited on Mon Jul-12-10 05:23 PM by SargeUNN
I want Reid to get back in because Angle is worse but Reid just had Obama stomping for him for 2 days and Reid certainly is as guilty of caving in to Republicans as anyone. For him to say that would carry more weight if he would follow his own advice.

8. correct I am no fan of Reid's but
certainly am against Angle. Reid is too scared to stand up too often. I used to be down on Pelosi until she started showing some toughness and passing some good bills only to watch as Reid allowed many of these bills to rot because the Repukes didn't want them addressed.

10. Why doesn't Reid get tough on Republicans and force them to filibuster?

He's letting them run the Senate!

12. In fairness, there have been things Reid wanted to fight for and the WH reined him in.
Reid got the reimportation bill to the floor and the WH staff burned up the phone lines pressuring Senators to vote against it.

15. the same Reid who said
after Obama election that he did not take orders from the President and he would do what he wanted to? That Reid. Me thinks he speaks with forked tongue. I agree Obama needs to get tougher with these Republican idiots, but Reid needs to follow his own advice.

16. Reid also tried to add a public option to the Senate bill twice & made it clear he was pissed when
Rahm showed up and told him he had to cave to Lieberbutt.

18. but he isn't being honest
had he been he would have said and I am just as guilty because I let them get away with too much since I lacked the guts to stand my ground. The senate is the biggest problem we have, and Reid is letting the Republicans get away with stalling much he could get going.

19. Harry Reid is much more liberal than Obama will ever dream of being...Sadly, he is
also brought down by the Administration's conservative bent...The idea that a US State would actually consider a pinhead like Angle a serious candidate for the Senate says a lot about our wonderful culture.

In this case, the only thing I care about pots and kettles is hitting Republicans over the head with them. (politically speaking)
