The elephant in the room

We talk about right direction on the economy, job growth, future normal. We are the secondary empire. This is taboo to discuss. Republicans would eat you alive, if you said our national future was shrinking, and rightsizing our military is right. Our amazing super secret shrinking empire, and every lessening of influence we endure. Its why the republicans, by and large, want to use our surviving advantage, our weapons and weapon wielders, as the item that can guarantee our further relevance. Had McCain been selected, we would be asserting all over the place. The next few elections, will choose the path of fascist expansion, or a scaling down of empire, to possibly include enough military reduction, to both invest in better industries, and cushion the innocent that lost most of their futures. Having a congress our pres can work with, for a second term legacy hound, could work wonders. Achieving the things he should have been doing, instead of following behind GWB doodie minefield. We should EASILY outvoter any opposition, if we dont get discouraged. Obama has shown the first step, a pronouncement, that he will reduce the nuclear stockpile by forty percent. That is more than china owns. I expect Russia to do likewise. China will comply reluctantly. This is for all the marbles, and we control the jar. Our logic is superior, our rhetoric less frenetic. The visions of Armegeddon, offered intraveneously by fox, and tea partiers, will make Americans recoil from them. After you have invoked Hitler, the whole commie crew, given Jesus a much needed rambo overhaul, what is left but aliens?

I hope we are patient enough, to cram this thing home, as we should. Only revulsion, leading to inaction can stop us. We need to bust once and for all, the passive liberal stereotype. Instead invoking Mother Jones, Harriet Tubman types as our models. Not Newt Gingrich's insistance on conflicted teen do nothings, as our model. We own this. Now we just have to have the guts to claim it.
