UFO in China? (PIC and video) ---------------- from MSN homepage
Edited on Thu Jul-15-10 03:37 AM by underpants

On July 9, 2010, an unexplained phenomenon appeared over the Xiaoshan Airport in Hangzhou, China, causing massive flight delays.

UFO sighting in China airport (VIDEO) Was it debris from an American intercontinental missile, as some Chinese authorities are saying? Or is it a test of some new Chinese military weapon?

Despite various reports stating both, the unidentified flying object spotted over China remains a mystery. The appearance of the UFO caused a massive display of white light in the sky, in a formation that appears to be an elongated cloud that turns into a single bright light moving through the atmosphere.

An unidentified flying object (UFO), which in some photos looks a little like a comb laying on its side, disrupted air traffic over Xiaoshan Airport in Zhejiang's provincial capital Hangzhou late on Wednesday, reports China Daily.

Coincidence?

I don't think so. The airport is directly under his hospital through the earth's core.

To points unknown.

It may be an unidentified, but it isn't unknown by their government or ours, and it is homegrown.

While I dunno what it was, I'd like to learn more about it -- or them.

31. Excellent observations, yours.
Stunning images, they are. And two different stories they tell.

In the video, the light moves across the sky and leaves that vapor trail. As it moves, a cloud grows and then the light source pops out and continues.

In the stills, apparently taken from different locations by different photographers, the thing appears like a portable Iomega hard drive with lights.

The beam of light is very cool. I think that is what witnesses were describing when they said it had a "tail" similar to a comet.

43. Amazing . . . thank you!!
How many times have Christians seen that photo and failed to question it!!

Various governments have been trying to get this info out --

US is still trying to hide it --

Remember this?

Pres. Carter was told by Poppy Bush/CIA that he -- Carter -- couldn't see the info

on UFO's because he didn't have a high enough security clearance!!

That is -- UFO's have a higher security clearance than the atomic bomb!!

40. Agree . . . but it's a dangerous subject ... obviously --
I posted this in 9/11 just to save the Mods time --

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=125x290668

There were two or three individual sightings recently --

and China has had many sightings --

Recall the NY Times 15 years or more ago running a first page story on all the UFO

activity in China --

and they showed this like two inch by 3 inch photo on the front page of a Chinese woman

pointing to the sky -- NO PICS OF UFOS --

Meanwhile, the article which continued inside the newspaper was length and had NO PICS --

and frequently mentioned how many pictures had been taken of them!!

The number and intensity of the comments here suggest that this is still a high power issue

which threatens those in control --

Obviously, other govenments are trying to get info out on this --

US looks like the nay sayer on the issue --

Remember that UFO's are covered by an even higher security level than the atomic bomb!

Carter made that clear when he was told by Poppy Bush/CIA that he -- Carter -- didn't have

a high enough clearance to see the information on UFO's!!

:)

18. Hmmm...#1 Read the article. And follow the links it provides to the Chinese newspaper
that initially published it.

#2 So a bunch of people all over the city spontaneously decided to simultaneously use a camera they could set to a long exposure? Or alternately, one person can instantaneously move from one completely different location to another, long exposing in each location? Or there was a "flash" mob type event where everyone taking pictures was told to put it on a long exposure.

Occam's razor dude.... use it.

I'm not saying I know what it is....I'm just saying your hypothesis is weak.

there were multiple photos published in the Chinese news. The government said it was going to explain the phenomenon. And then it explained nothing and elevated the situation to top secret. The beam of light is particularly interesting, imho.

29. Ever tried taken a pic of a moving object at night?
It's the bane of photographers everywhere. To me, the more blurry, the more realistic.
As a matter of fact, taking a spontaneous picture in daylight is a formidable feat. It's one aspect of photography that will hopefully not change no matter the technological advances.

That's certainly what it looks like to me, a two (or more) stage rocket launch being filmed from quite a way off. If you look right around :34-35, you can see the puff of smoke as the stage is blown off during separation.

I don't know what that is in the still pics but I'm 99.9% sure of what I see in the video
