Jesu! I'm watching a program on the History Channel on Nazi America

and it is really interesting. It is the history of the establishment and history of the Nazi movement in the US from its inception until now. It sounds so familiar--the methods and precepts/conditions under which it was built are very similar to those used by the Teabaggers. This program is worth watching.

The focus is usually on a few fringe characters who sported swastikas and silly mustaches, not the Americans in expensive 3-piece suits who knowingly pumped billions into the Nazi war machine, and continued to do so after Pearl Harbor, and then joined forces with the Fascists on the other side after the war to wage yet another war.

The Cold War excused practically anything and everything they did.

It may appear the support Israel and right-wing Jews, but they don't. They support their control over certain markets and products. They care as much for Jews as the ME Arabs care for Palestinians, meaning they don't give a shit about them and use them for their political chess games. The left use us for our clout and socialist tendencies, but they too would abandon us if it suit their needs or fed their cause.

Much of this occurred before I was born or when I was a very small child. It is interesting to see this stinking onion peeled back. There are so many layers under what is going on now. The Teabaggers are children of the Bunde.

number of RW celebrities are intent on bringing it all about. It's disgusting and dangerous. Glad you are watching this! Many have said this is like 1939 Germany in this country and I agree. These people are dangerous and I do hope most Americans are not asleep at the wheel as to what's going on... We go into other countries and we have similar or worse brewing in this country. It's the same old sh** all over again.

9. It wasn't that long ago

that we'd get guffawed at for suggesting that neo-nazis and klan are active around here (northern Colorado). Recently, a group of neo-nazis got their name on a state highway sign as the group responsible for litter patrol in that area; shocked quite a few people into a bit of unpleasant reality.

11. It's a very good account of how these people have insinuated themselves

into our institutions so they can affect legislation and make it possible for politicians who are sympathetic to say and do what they want without being directly associated with them. Very sobering indeed. The rhetoric and philosophy touted by the Teabaggers and some of the more radical legislators we hear is not a whit different from the hardcore Neonazi or white supremisist groups. The conflation of race and Christianity really stands out.

Although most of the Tea Baggers we see are doughy and ludicrous, I bet in younger days some belonged to other, equally sinister organizations.


Along with Klan associations, I suspect there are strong links to the "Sovereign" community as well as any number of "patriot militia".

It's interesting that although the Johnson DOJ vigorously prosecuted local law enforcement that were Klan-associated, today the "Oath Keepers" have infiltrated many police agencies as well as the military.

The back-lash of electing a black President will be evident for decades to come.

13. I saw that program on History Channel a few months ago

And you are right - it is worthwhile watching. We forget or never have learned this history.

I just started reading this week Freedom Summer about the 1964 volunteers efforts in Mississippi to break through the barriers that kept blacks from being allowed to vote and segregated.

Frightening.

You can see how the RW organizations that foster the tea partiers are cousins to the Citizen's Council and Sovereignty Commission.

Also how the news and even entertainment was censored because of who owned the newspapers, radio & TV stations.

15. I remember a short video about the use of Propaganda in pre-WW2 Germany

It was at the Holocaust Museum in DC.

What amazed me was how the same exact tactics are used today by right-wing screeds like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glen Beck and anyone at Faux News.

How about Standard Oil? Dupont (Zyklon B) Chemicals, and General Motors. Then there was the crew at Harriman Brown Bros. Funny how the only big shot that ever gets mentioned is Henry Ford, Sr., and that would never have become public knowledge if he hadn't republished "The Elders of Zion" on the from page of the Dearborn Independent newspaper and openly funded America First.

was a place I had to walk by every school day. growing up... until he got shot.

He was such a minor figure that distracted the public from the real hidden Nazis in positions of power
such as those described in all your posts.
