I like Alvin Greene...
I think after everything he's gone through with the "press" since he was nominated, I don't blame him for ducking that CNN reporter after his first campaign event.

In fact, I don't think he should talk to them at all. If people need to know what he has to say, they can either go to one of his events or they can get an update from someone who did.

Maybe I'm still new enough to my political awakening and am being naive. But I simply don't care.

I stand in support of Alvin Greene.

3. Maybe so. But at least he isn't a rich elitist who has no idea what
people like Mr. Greene have to go through just to survive in this country.

11. Send him some money if you are so enamored of him.
I have lived in South Carolina and while this state has problems the Dems should be able to field a candidate who can talk in complete sentences. Just what besides a talking point do you mean by elitist? If he can turn a 90 on an IQ test I would be surprised. If this represented the quality of all candidates the party entered we would be in bad shape. If he has any position papers on ANYTHING post the link so I can better understand why this guy is a viable candidate. No, I don't like the asshole DeMint either. Alvin has a snowballs chance in Crawford of winning. Lord help us.

4. He actually suggested that some unemployed be put to work making and selling action figures of him.
I'm no DeMint fan, at all, but I don't want this guy Greene in office either.

I probably won't vote in that race.

Sad. I wish we had a viable candidate there.

I definitely like this guy...has some flair to him. Not politics as usually...great material for the Daily Show. I hope he wins.

7. Wow. Really? It sounds like something dubya would say.
What Greene said, not what you said. Although, I can't wrap my mind around what you said either.

5. I believe him to be mentally challenged...
and either someone has a perverse sense of humor or his blind luck quota is off the scale. Either way I wish Mr. Greene no ill nor harm, but I don't see this ending well for him on a personal and emotional level, no matter what happens in the race. And, I think that is unfortunate. Jim DeMint needs to be removed from the Senate. On that I certainly agree. And certainly there is precedence for bizarre candidates to win, despite all odds. Jesse Ventura comes to mind. But he was emotionally and mentally capable of handling the position he ended up winning. I in no way believe that to be the case with Mr. Greene.

snarky about him.

15. I have a blind hunch that Mr. Greene did not get there by himself...
From raising the entry fee to filing the necessary paper work... I think Mr. Green was assisted. When he was being interviewd it was obvious he was being coached via an ear-piece.
