MSNBC - DirectV - Murdoch - trying to keep them a bit honest |
|
So, a bit ago ALL channels were coming in loud and clear EXCEPT MSNBC, which said it was "searching for signal."
So I called and talked to a nice young man most likely in India. He had me try random channels, most frequently #360 (Faux).
When I said it worked, but that I NEVER watched it, he asked why.
So I explained. He left to "try something" and then a miracle! MSNBC came on clear as a bell.
This is the second time this has happened to me this summer.
Progressive Paranoia here.

1. msnbc, link, etc., were not coming in earlier for me--but the idiot local channels |
|
(which I try to avoid) were coming in just fine. yeccch. the storm seems to be over, however.

3. I think each of us affected should call |
|
each and every time. Yes, it is a pain, but if you keep punching 0, you get to a "real person" eventually.
They may be testing to see if viewer interest is enough to keep the channels in their lineup.
But as I said, just a tad paranoid about Rupert here.

Thanks -- BUT it is so strange that MSNBC and LINK are the ONLY feeds affected, when all others work.

5. It's currently owned by Liberty Media and John C. Malone is the Chairman. |
|
It's possible that he's just as right-wing as Rupey. :-)
