Nothing To See At Wikileaks!
July 26, 2010, 7:50PM

I have now personally read all of the 90,000 leaked documents and have had time to look up supporting material, calling on my own multilingual abilities and intelligence sources and I can say, after spending the better part of my late afternoon doing this, that there's nothing new in the Wikileaks documents and so we should just stop talking about them and move on to this exciting item about Lindsay Lohan's favorite tanning parlor.

The big picture behind the Wikileaks Afghan War Diary
by: Paul Rosenberg

..... the Wikileaks "Afghan War Diary" helps us understand the big picture, not so much by providing radically new information, but simply by documenting what was clearly inevitable at the time to those knowledgeable about the region.

To a very large extent, the most important thing about the diary is that it serves to underscore some basic truths, the denial of which have been central to our entire mindset and strategic framework of assumptions since 9/11. Three things in particular are significant:

PAT TILLMAN DIED for this bullshit!!!!!! (oops, i forgot about lindsay)kp

1. that's what I've been hearing
it's pretty unanimous, pretty much everyone on the radio, and Robert Gibbs, have read all the documents and they all agree it's old news.

5. That's a relief!
Because I have been repeatedly and reliably informed that if there is anything in the Wikileaks documents, nay anything anywhere, that puts even one American fightin' man or woman in greater danger, that it's treason! Treason!

In fact, I'm thinking that in along those lines, we should quit "declaring" wars. Why should our enemies know we're coming for them? And this whole "volunteer" military thing? If the military thinks a citizen has abilities that could prove useful, they should just conscript them. We don't want America to be weak, do we? And, of course, because information about a citizen's conscription shared with the conscriptee's family might compromise his or her safety, the families shouldn't know anything about their service, including where they may be deployed, for how long, or any other details that the enemy could use. Anyone trying to find out this information or publish it, is a de facto Enemy of the State and should be severely (perhaps summarily) dealt with.

8. Jim Miklizewski (sp?) Just Reported That THE PENTAGON Doesn't Even Know
all the information that Wikileaks has! They are honing in on a man named Manning, but said that hundreds of men had access to the same information that Manning did! Don't even know the extent of what has been downloaded, so HOW anyone could have read it all, says IT ALL!

It's CYA in FULL FORCE!! This administration is really coming FULL CIRCLE and rounding up the chuck wagons in DEFENSE!!

9. My first reaction to hearing (not reading) about these leaks was what
a wonderful opportunity for POTUS to say okay, that's it, we're outta there. This cannot happen fast enough and this is the perfect leverage one might need to stop this insanity. Again, just my reaction.
