it says her first hearing date was July 15th.
Senator Kyl spoke that day, but I don't know if they asked her any questions or not.

4. executive business meeting

July 15 was the hearing date, but the 29th is the first executive business meeting that includes Murguia on the agenda. Rules allow any judiciary committee member to hold over a vote for at most one executive business meeting, and the Republicans have been doing so for almost every judicial nominee this congress (I think Beverly Martin was the only exception). That means the judiciary committee is unlikely to hold a vote on Murguia until next week, at the earliest. And when the committee finally approves her, she'll sit on the senate calendar for months on end...
