9. My pop bought a roll of 100 $0.37 stamps
six weeks before he died. That was about 3 weeks before the price went up to 39 cents. I think that roll will outlive me, unless I'm using 2 or 3 at a time by the end.

11. When my Dad died he left an envelope full of stamps at all different prices
He had stamps with no valuation on them that I took to the post office
and found out what they were worth--and then I used them!

and I'm sure there are some ancient four cent stamps in there someplace.

By the way, there is no inflation.

I do believe the 39 cent stamps without a price had a white background while the 41 cent universal stamps has a somewhat tan background to them.

I'm assuming you mean using them without the two cent stamps.

unless you just bought them for 41 cents, which it sounds like you didn't. Go buy some 2 cent stamps and use them up!

8. Thanks , I guess I will use 2 of the old 39 cent today , less than than gas
to drive and get more , what a rip if you ask me , what do the new stamps say on theM , FOREVER or 41 cents or just you're screwed .
