Know what we need? More posts about people unrec'ing threads
Whatever the subject, you can always count on the first few responses to howl about "anonymous rec'ers" or "anonymous unrec'ers."

Me, I can't get enough of it. Let's have more pointless complaining! In fact, don't even bother to complain pointlessly unless your complaint is even more pointless than this one. Who's with me?!?

Incidentally, I'm unrec'ing this thread.

1. I rec'd it to cancel your unrec, so there, LOL! :) but I do have to say,
I really wonder about all the unrecs. It seems like there are always unrecs right at first, no matter what the post is. Every single time. So it just makes me wonder if there isn't some troll lurking but not posting, who is having fun by doing unrec's. Or several trolls. Makes me wonder, because it's such a consistent thing, no matter what the post is about.

13. If that's how someone has fun
I have to wonder about the pathetic lack of any form of a life they must have.

3. I think there is an embarrassing dearth of threads on
crocodile wrestling.

Frankly, I expect more of a web site than the measly representation crocodile wrestling receives here.

It's disgraceful.

5. It's a pet peeve of mine, too. I just assume they're "from the other side"
and want to divert the discussion into something irrelevant.

I hate "right direction" and "wrong direction" polls, too. Tits on a bull.

7. Someone starts a thread
and also makes the first response himself/herself complaining about "unrecs" of their brilliant OP.

I wonder what the place would be like if the rec/unrec feature ad the "greatest page" feature disappeared and the mods warned people about making posts just to kick a thread.

Substance? Who the hell neeeds substance?

9. Now there's an idea....
Pre-emptive complaining about unrecs...

Just in case the OP isn't around to actually see the first one happen..

15. Now I'm nonymous.
I'm one of the ones who automatically unrecs a thread when I see a complaint about unrecs in the first few replies.

Makes me happy, it does.:patriot:
