What do we do with the Afghans that collaborated with us? |
|
Some of them did it just for the money. As low as five dollars a day I have read. I am not a big fan of collaborators. How can you ever really trust them? They once made the decision to work with a foreign invader. Would you turn your back on someone who did that?
But regardless we owe these people something. What do we do to guarantee safety for them and their families? Bring them here? Leave them there to be killed? What do we do with them?
Any ideas?

5. They have to know how fucked they are |

And yes, the United States will be every bit as solicitous toward them as we have been with our good friends who helped us in Vietnam. Yet another debt we're incurring and running up that we will never be able, or even willing, to pay.
