Is it the Phillies acquiring Roy Oswalt? Is it the fact that someone in City Hall bilked the city out of hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars by manipulating the fees for reports issued? Is it the Spycam case? Is it the Eagles in training camp without Donovan McNabb for the first time in more than ten years?
No...
It's the Grand Opening of The Apple Store, here on Walnut Street. Crews have been working 24/7 for weeks to finish the only Apple Store anywhere around. We expect an enormous crowd tonight, assuming that they'll finish in time for the 5 P.M. opening. People have been gathering each night to watch the glaziers place the glass, pave the sidewalk, and build the interior. The inventory has been delivered under off-duty police guard and huge crates are being off-loaded continuously. It's almost like watching a military operation.
