7. Cool! I tricked Gerry Trudeau with my Pesidential IQ study 10 years ago. |
|
I wrote a spoof article 10 years ago giving Bush an IQ of 91 and it was so believable that the MSM published it around the world. It even tricked Trudeau into making a cartoon about it. When Trudeau realized he was duped he apologized.
Looking back I was far too kind to Bush. His real IQ is way below 91.

It was the Presidential IQ Report. I think I'll post it on DU with Gerry Trudeau's Doonesbury cartoon. When Trudeau found out my report was fake he apologized for his cartoon. It's cool you heard it on a sports show.

called "2nd hand news" on which the oddities of the day are read. When this was read the hosts noted that it was probably biased but eminently believable. The fact that Smirk having an IQ of 91 is believable says a great deal.

But I made sure I gave Clinton a 182 or double dumbya's 91. On the morning footage of Bush sitting on that stool as we were being attacked on 9/11 it looked like I should have reversed the numbers and given him an IQ of 19. Stupid is as stupid does.

YOU was the gulty one, who made my heart allmoust blow,or at least some of my blood wessels broke under the stress when I read that in an norwigian newspaper?.. And had to fight nail and toe when the right wingers on a norwigian news paper got wind of it, and made a lot of force to show how smart that son of a ******** man was?????????? Yes that history was going all the way to Norway too...
But yes, you was far to kind to him....

32. Thanks! I collected news stories around the world that published my fake report. LOL |
|
Yeah, it was me and I used some of my friends' names as the 'sociologists', 'psychologists', etc. at the made up 'Lovenstein Institute' in Scranton, Pa. I purposely gave Bush 1/2 the IQ of Clinton's. I would have been more accurate giving him 1/3 Clinton's IQ. LOL. I was especially happy to see my article hit Euopean newspapers just as Bush arrived there. I still see that 91 IQ around the internet. Thanks for sharing your story with me!
BTW: I believe I guestimated all the rest of the presidents' IQs fairly accurately. I later learned that Carter was the only president to have his IQ documented and I was only off by one point.

there are so many talented people - we need creative people to help us change the world. Right now, all we have are MBA douche bags who defend BP, because after all, they have a financial incentive to do the right thing. I'd like to throw every last MBA douche bag into the gulf of mexico and restore dignity to America.
John Yoo strikes me as the type of sensible douche bag that would be embraced by our DLC/OFA canards as pragmatic.

I agree with you. MBAers just learn how to cook books and make money off of other peoples' efforts. You could take every MBA at BP and they wouldn't produce as much in their lifetimes as a migrant worker does in one day picking fruit and vegetables. I am so sick of economic and social injustice.
Great to meet you too.

Wel, the SAD PART is that the foundies, on this side of the Atlantic ALSO belived it to be true and made the case, that Bush jr, was far smarter than this In fact they belived his IQ to be like in the 100s or so.....
And the whole case was also a really face history - and the foundies all over the planet who for some reason or another loved this man, jumped the shark and loved it... AND showed it as a prof that Bush was a smart man... In fact some of them was telling me, that he was far smarter than Clinton, but that he had a urge to play clown all the time, as a form of hiding how smart he really was..
Today I could make fun about it all.. But at the time It allmost drove me into a early grave.... It was not you, in the US who was angry about this man, many, if not millions of europeans also was angry about this clown...
But it must be funny to read, all over the net, that your little lie, still are living their life out there on the internet... And some seriousy means that it was true. When you KNOW it to be a lie, and a made up story.... But I would say, it was a DAM GOOD hoax.... Even tho it was a hoax who many belived to be true..

48. Hi Diclotican, thanks for that. I was amazed at how right wingers touted him as smart too. |
|
But Forrest Gump said it best, "Stupid is as stupid does" and Bush's entire life is filled with examples of stupidity. If not for being the son of a president and born into wealth I doubt he would have gotten any further than washing windshields at street corners.
What's sad are the same right wingers who praised Bush as being smart are saying how stupid Obama is. They live in their own reality which has no relation to facts or truth. Even while governor of Texas, Bush spent most of his days playing video games, exercising or doing nothing. It made me mad when Bush would say he's the leader of a state with the sixth largest economy, etc when in reality the Texas governor is one of the weakest state positions in the country. The Lt governor of Texas has all the power because he controls all the legislation. I know because I was the Reform Party candidate for the Lt Governor position.
The inept media never once said that the Texas governor was the weakest one in the country. Neither did Al Gore during the 2000 campaign. I have no doubt I could have debated Bush and exposed him to be the fraud he was, but Gore failed to do so and lost. Gore could have won that election by such a large margin even the corrupt supreme court couldn't have stolen it. Remember the one debate when Gore agreed with almost everything Bush said? I watched that debate with a lot if friends and we wondered if Gore was actually throwing the election. Gore failed to even expose all of Bush's inept and corrupt acts while he was governor. Had Gore been even somewhat competent at debating he could have destroyed Bush and we would have been spared two useless wars, a destroyed economy and all the other damage Bush caused. Well I know that went off topic but I remember how stupid Bush was as governor and Gore did nothing to capitalize off of it.
Yeah, it was cool to be able to dupe the media and millions of people with my spoof article. I have a file full of press clippings from different media sources I duped. I was especially happy to help expose Bush for the dunce he is. I remember my Mom worrying about me because of what people in the Bush Regime would do to me. She knew how dangerous they were.
All the best!

It's sad to think that when bush eats he is eating something more intelligent than he is. What do you think his intelligence was before the booze and drugs? 10, 12? LOL.
Thanks for the Palin joke. Ya think we should stop using the word 'joke' and just say 'thanks for that great palin'? :). Just like water, republicans seem to love those at the lowest part of the intellectual pool.
Seriously, when I wrote that spoof article I wanted it to be believable so I could dupe the media. Not one of the media outlets bothered to verify whether my made-up Lovenstein Institute even existed. My story ended up being published all around the world.

It's a dreadfully desperate situation. I can only imagine what it was like in Feudal England. Or Iraq, or any dozens of other places on earth
Work harder, talk more...talk "nice" to the uninformed and confused. I've converted folks in my time. People begin to see. it will only be people, not one person as president who will change things. First, they have to know what's going on. Talk more, have facts, talk "nice". It really works. Lot's of people really don't know who it is working against them and how.
Live life. Soon, it's over for us all :)
Let's see, how many more cliches can I think of...:D

where are the people decrying the sexism of this comic? Portraying Palin as a Barbie knockoff? Referring to her as an empty-headed plastic piece of crap?
It just goes to prove that sexism can get past even the most discerning palate if packaged right, but if you ever utter the wrong word, it doesn't matter what you were really trying to say.
People need to start reading for comprehension and context and knock off the word-ban shit.
