Hmm. Is this the beginning of a pattern? |
First Charlie Rangel and now Maxine Waters under fire for ethics, both senior liberal representatives in Congress and both are black from inner cities. I can state for a fact that Charlie's predecessor, my former Congressman, Bill Thomas and formerly the Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee was far more corrupt than Charlie, but then he was a Republican and IOKIYAR (it's O. K. if you are a Republican) seems to be the order of the day here. It doesn't hurt to be white either.

7. Racism, Sir, Must Be the Presumption At this Point |
Corruption is pretty much a given in Congress, as most people understand the term, and so to single out two prominent black Democrats must raise eyebrows, especially when it is done in the run-up to a hotly contested election in which the race of the President is the great un-named factor underlying all Republican hopes and plans.

9. But there is so much dirt to dig up on Darrell Issa. |
Why aren't our investigative reporters doing it. I mean there is so much that is unexplained about the recall, where he got the money, how he collected the petition signatures, and why weren't they questioned? There were so many anecdotal irregularities in that fiasco and yet no one has investigated this or Darrell Issa, I mean Democrats with the wherewithal to do it.
