I want to apologize for missing two week days of writing to you about the the stalled nomination of Jane Stranch (nominee for the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit). My family has been on vacation.

I have been writing to you every weekday about her because she has been waiting for more than eight and a half months for a vote. Have you talked with the Majority Leader about why it has taken him 8.5 months to file for cloture?

This is my 31st correspondence with you about her nomination. I will continue to write to you and Senate Majority Leader every weekday until such time as this noncontroversial and qualified nominee is confirmed.
