Specter Wants gonzAllAss To Resign-WTF?

1. What's with this?

From the article itself quoting Specter:

"It is the decision of Mr. Gonzales as to whether he stays or goes...."

What's that mean? No, it is not up to Gonzo, it is up to Bush whether he stays or goes. He might resign, but Chimp would tell him to do so rather than have to fire him. Since when can a Cabinet officer decide he is staying no matter what. He must have something unbelievable against Bush that would send him to jail.
