last year at the coffee shop, I was working on some fiction and our resident curmudgeon went on and on as to how he didn't support no damn guv'ment health care, but stay away from my medicare.

So I asked, gently mind you... "You do know who runs Medicare!"

"Don't care! If the government takes over they will destroy my medicare."

I saw an elderly couple at the Target this morning in their (what else) Ford Taurus will ALL of the Teabagger bumpers stickers. As I was paying for my prescriptions, guess who ambled up to the pharmacy counter? Yup, them, and I am SURE they need their whatever provided by Medicaid.


I could not hassle them because it would have done no good.
