1. That's what the Hide Thread feature is for.

7. I just spent 20 minutes
hiding as many Falwell threads as I could find - on the first page! I think the OP is suggesting the ability to hide all the threads with Falwell in the subject line at one time. It sure would have saved me some time this morning.

Where do I sign up?

3. There's a little square box to the right of each thread title. If you don't want to read the thread
or you can't IGNORE it.....HIDE IT! Click on the little box and the thread will be gone. I think...I've never used it, but I thnk that's how it works.:)

4. Hehehehe.
Thanks. I just think that, with certain topics, which explode into 30 threads, then into 60 meta-threads which discuss whether the original 30 threads are appropriate, it would be handy to be able to filter all of them, including future ones. It wouldn't be trivial to implement, but it would even be handy for "watching" for topics of interest -- not just filtering out the incessant noise/counternoise .

6. I suggested allowing others to view your 'hide thread' list, if you want
and then to be able to add all, or some, of them to your own, from one screen (similar to the 'managed your hidden threads' screen where you see your own, and can un-hide some or all of them). The admin have said they'll consider it.

I could offer people about 160 hidden threads, just about Falwell, right now.
