Claim: E-mail reproduces various statements made by Hillary Clinton.

Status: Multiple — see below.

Example:

WHAT A SWEET, WONDERFUL PERSON THE HILDABEAST IS.

Cheers to the Truth!

"Where is the G-damn f**king flag? I want the G-damn f**king flag up every f**king morning at f**king sunrise."

(From the book "Inside The White House" by Ronald Kessler, p. 244 - Hillary to the staff at the Arkansas Governor's mansion on Labor Day, 1991)

"You sold out, you mother f**ker! You sold out!"

(From the book "Inside" by Joseph Califano, p. 213 - Hillary yelling at Democrat lawyer.)

"It's been said, and I think it's accurate, that my husband was obsessed by terrorism in general and al-Qaida in particular."

(Hillary telling a post-9/11 world what a 'great' commander in chief her husband was; Dateline, NBC 4/16/2004.)

"I have to admit that a good deal of what my husband and I have learned has come from our daughter."

(TruthInMedia.org 8/8/1999 - Hillary at a White House function, proudly tells some Muslim groups she is gaining a greater appreciation of Islam because Chelsea was then taking a class on the "religion of peace")

"F**k off! It's enough that I have to see you shit-kickers every day, I'm not going to talk to you too!! Just do your G*damn job and keep your mouth shut."

(From the book "American Evita" by Christopher Anderson, p. 90 - Hillary to her State Trooper bodyguards after one of them greeted her with "Good morning."

"If you want to remain on this detail, get your f**king ass over here and grab those bags!"

(From the book "The First Partner" p. 259 - Hillary to a Secret Service Agent who was reluctant to carry her luggage because he wanted to keep his hands free in case of an incident.)

"Get f**ked! Get the f**k out of my way!!! Get out of my face!!!"

(From the book "Hillary's Scheme" p. 89 - Hillary's various comments to her Secret Service detail agents.)

"Stay the f**k back, stay the f**k away from me! Don't come within ten yards of me, or else! Just f**king do as I say, Okay!!!?"

(From the book "Unlimited Access", by Clinton FBI Agent in Charge, Gary Aldrige, p. 139 - Hillary screaming at her Secret Service detail.)

"Many of you are well enough off that tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to have to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

(Hillary grandstanding at a fund raising speech in San Francisco; SFGate.com 6/28/2004.)

"Why do I have to keep proving to people that I am not a liar?!"

(From the book "The Survivor," by John Harris, p. 382 - Hillary in her 2000 Senate campaign)

"Where's the miserable c*ck sucker?"

(From the book "The Truth About Hillary" by Edward Klein, p. 5 - Hillary shouting at a Secret Service officer)

"No matter what you think about the Iraq war, there is one thing we can all agree on for the next days — we have to salute the courage and bravery of those who are risking their lives to vote and those brave Iraqi and American soldiers fighting to protect their right to vote."

(Was posted on Hillary Clinton's senate.gov web site on 1/28/05)

"Put this on the ground! I left my sunglasses in the limo. I need those sunglasses. We need to go back!"

(From the book "Dereliction of Duty" p. 71-72 - Hillary to Marine One helicopter pilot to turn back while en route to Air Force One.)

"A right-wing network was after his presidency ... including perverting the Constitution."

(To Barbara Walters about the Republicans who impeached her husband; 20/20, ABC 6/8/2003.)

"Son of a bitch."

(From the book "American Evita" by Christopher Anderson, p. 259 - Hillary's opinion of President George W. Bush when she found out he secretly visited Iraq just days before her highly publicized trip to Iraq)

"What are you doing inviting these people into my home? These people are our enemies! They are trying to destroy us!"

(From the book "The Survivor" by John Harris, p. 99 - Hillary screaming to an aide, when she found out that some Republicans had been invited to the Clinton White House)

"I mean, you've got a conservative and right-wing press presence with really nothing on the other end of the political spectrum."

(C-Span, 1/19/1997 - Hillary complains about the mainstream media, which are all conservatives in her opinion)

"Come on Bill, put your dick up! You can't f**k her here!!"

(From the book "Inside The White House" by Ronald Kessler, p. 243 - Hillary to Gov. Clinton when she spots him talking with an attractive female at an Arkansas political rally)

"You show people what you're willing to fight for when you fight your friends."

"We are at a stage in history in which remolding society is one of the great challenges facing all of us in the West."

(From the book "I've Always Been A Yankee Fan" by Thomas D. Kuiper, p. 119 - During her 1993 commencement address at the University of Texas)

"The only way to make a difference is to acquire power"

(From the book "I've Always Been A Yankee Fan" by Thomas D. Kuiper, p. 68 - Hillary to a friend before starting law school.)

"We just can't trust the American people to make those types of choices.... Government has to make those choices for people"

(From the book "I've Always Been A Yankee Fan" by Thomas D. Kuiper, p. 20 - Hillary to Rep. Dennis Hastert in 1993 discussing her expensive, disastrous taxpayer-funded health care plan)

"I am a fan of the social policies that you find in Europe"

(From the book "I've Always Been A Yankee Fan" by Thomas D. Kuiper, p. 76 - Hillary in 1996)

This ill-tempered, violent, foul mouthed, hateful and abusive woman wants to be your president and have total control as commander-in-chief of a military that her party so openly and proudly admit they detest. I can see someone like this gaining the respect of other nations, and especially from their leaders, who refuse to do as she tells them ... or else. No thanks, my country deserves a better leader, not a dominatrix!

Origins: Attempting to assign any kind of status to this 2007

collection of purported quotes by Hillary Rodham Clinton poses something of a problem. All of them have appeared in print as things the former first lady and current U.S. senator from New York supposedly said (although some of them are missourced in the e-mail reproduced above), but they are stripped of explanatory context (and/or accompanied by misleading explanations), and they range from scripted public statements to spontaneous private utterances, from reports by mainstream journalists to revelations by unnamed or anonymous sources to mere hearsay repetition of rumor.

We have attempted to trace each entry back to its first print source, provide a reasonably full context for the given quote, and note where the print source came by its information:

"Where is the G-damn f**king flag? I want the G-damn f**king flag up every f**king morning at f**king sunrise."
While this quote is included in more than one book about the Clintons, its original source was a January 1994 American Spectator article by David Brock, who interviewed four state troopers who had worked for the Clintons while Bill Clinton was governor of Arkansas. The quote was taken from information provided by Arkansas state trooper Larry Patterson:
The troopers were also objects of Hillary's wrath. Patterson recalled the early morning of Labor Day in 1991, when Hillary came out of the mansion, got in her car, and drove off. Within a minute or so of leaving the gate, her aging blue Cutlass swung violently around and came charging back onto the grounds, tires squealing in the dust. "I thought something was terribly wrong, so I rushed out to her. And she screamed, 'Where is the goddamn f -- -ing flag?' It was early and we hadn't raised the flag yet. And she said, 'I want the goddamn f -- -ing flag up every f -- -ing morning at f -- -ing sunrise.'"
In 1998, David Brock expressed skepticism about the validity of some of the claims made in his American Spectator "Troopergate" article:
I guess that I should confess that as the author of the infamous piece, I think "proving Troopergate" may be a tall order. I was as sure of that story when I wrote it as any journalist can be of any story. But in the years since then, the troopers have greatly damaged their credibility.

I'm sure you remember that during the Senate Whitewater hearings, the troopers made fools of themselves with improbable claims about the circumstances of Vincent Foster's death. One of the two troopers who went on the record with me, Larry Patterson, helped promote the infamous Clinton Chronicles, a crackpot video accusing of drug running and murder. Patterson was also recently cited as a source for The Secret Life of Bill Clinton, by British journalist Ambrose Evans-Pritchard. So I've had occasional pangs of doubt: Is it possible that they took me for a ride, embellishing their account for fame and fortune?
"You sold out, you mother f**ker! You sold out!"
.....

(EDITED FOR BREVITY - PLEASE SEE LINK FOR FULL TEXT)

Okay, first off, I want to say that IF Hillary has shown even half this much brass and toughness, I *do* want her as president.

Unfortunately, most of these quotes are from highly dubious sources.

And is there any doubt that if this were a MALE (GOP) candidate supposedly spewing all these profanities, the right would be cheering them on?

Why do they still insist that women behave like simpering glass dolls?

1. I Just Care About her Voting Record
And that's not debunk-able by Snopes.

2. It's getting to a point that Snopes can't be trusted.
At least by freepers. On another message board, there was this Social Security email blaming liberals and Jimmy Carter and such, after a few responses someone finally linked to snopes debunking it. And you know what the response was? That Snopes was left leaning. :eyes:

4. Wow, if they are, it's news to me.
They debunk or ignore most non-whitewash 9-11 possibilities, I certainly haven't seen anything there about the mysterious death of liberalism resurgent's Steve Kangas at the hands of Limbaugh backer and RW smearmonger mogul Richard Mellon Scaife. They are centrist by mainstream US standards, right-leaning by mine...

3. Most people have never heard of snopes.com, and most don't care.
They believe what they get in their email, and they have no problem passing it on.

We'll all get daily emails like this if she wins the primary - true or untrue.

7. Not so. Numerous male presidents have been caught on camera/tape using profanities...
...and it has ALWAYS been ignored and/or laughed off by the media and the public.

Bill Clinton was cuaght on camera cursing at his aides one time that I remember, on CNN on less, and it didn't hurt his popularity a bit.

10. The reason Hillary shouldn't be the nominee is 'cuz she can't give a morally coherent answer on Iraq
And while we're at it, certain other candidates would do well to get the memo that this time around people want clear, responsive answers and substance. That's what this country needs. Competent leadership that knows what it's doing.

I could give a flying fuck if our nominee swears like a Sailor. Shit, Dick Cheney does it while he's shooting his friends in the face, and no one seems to care.

16. Yeah, that comment about a reporter "being a real asshole" ended W's career, didn't it?
Oh wait. It didn't. W said that during the 2000 primaries.

But at least it was "all over" for Dick Cheney when he told a fellow senator to "fuck off" on the Senate floor.

Oh wait.

6. Simpering, virginal little dollies will never challenge them
over anything. They'll keep that simper on their faces during sex and never say the performance is anything but stellar. If they work outside the home, they'll happily make shit wages for being sexually harassed in a low level job. They'll know their places as children, as dependents, and as unpaid servants.

That's why.

One of the things I like about her is that she's never shy to say what needs being said. :toast:

9. Can I get a resounding "Who The FUCK Cares?"
Actually, I really don't want Hillary as the nominee- but if that line about "Put your dick up, you can't fuck her here" is true, I have to say it's pretty funny.

She gets points for that.

14. Yeah, I agree.
Pretty much anything that starts off talking about "The Hildabeast" is going into my spam box immediately. Sort of like "Why Do LIbeRals WAnt To keep God oUt of OUr ScHools?"

Not exactly the mark of an intelligent author.

13. Study this carefully, this is how RW smears work.
Basically, one conservative outlet reports a lie, and then others link to that lie, and others link to a source that links to the lie.

Of course, all of these quotes are hearsay at best and are most likely complete and utter bullshit, but it doesn't matter to the right wing, because "By God, its in a book!"

Sometimes it's just make some point.

I've been hitting "Reply All" in response to some of the dumber ones. So now all of her friends get to read my rebuttals!

20. Haha. I do that too.
I'm amazed that she still sends me stuff because I wipe the floor with her.

One of the more memorable ones was the one by the doctor who was so disgusted with all the "blacks" in the superdome.

It was totally debunked by snopes, so I sent the info, and tore her a new one for unfairly trashing minorities and the poor, as if they don't get enough shit already in our society.

She also sends a lot of crap about "the illegals". Amazing that Mexicans bother her so much, what with living in El Paso for the last 30 years. You'd think she'd have moved back to the midwest by now if they're so horrible.

(Doesn't stop them from using a Mexican cleaning lady twice a week, though.)
