Armageddon

Bad news, I'm afraid, they missed it. It went by as the christian right was in it's teens and preoccupied with the things teenagers are occupied with. Pimples 'n braces, tacos 'n t-shirts and such.

Armageddon was fought between us and those godless commies. And... We Won! True, it was not all that violent and many millions did not die, but it's still over and done with.

The idea that Armageddon would occur as a battle between two groups who worship the same God (Muslims and Christians) is not only crazy but very lucerative. But now that one of the head money suckers of the gullible is gone, maybe we can get on with things.

There's lots to do. Start by not sending (hard-earned or otherwise) money to Pat Robertson and his ilk (I suspect here at DU we are way ahead of the curve on that one).
