2. Hayworth would have turned the AZ Senate race into a tossup |
|
McCain winning means that is now a no-go.

I never believed Hayworth was going to win. He's so low caliber as a human being.
Not that Brown, say, or DeMint, or the Okie dokies are any higher caliber...

6. I haven't been sufficiently exposed to Hayworth to hate him. So I wish he had won. |
|
Whether I would have thought the same after a few years of his presence in this Senate, I have no idea. I am neither an Arizonan nor a Republican, so it was not something I had to make a responsible decision about...

16. I wish he had had won also. He's not appealing to independent voters |
|
and I sure he would have lost the general, even to a political novice such as Glassman.

"Build the dang fence" worked. LOL! I thought about 20 years ago how I would love to live in Arizona. Now I am afraid to even drive through it.

11. I think it was the direct attacks on Hayworth's hucksterism. |
|
You'd have to be pretty dumb not to see through that phony "danged fence" bullshit!

lose. He's such a hypocrit and it would give the dem a chance in November, Hayworth couldn't have pulled off the general.

15. You must have seen Rachel! She was awesome. I don't know |

a thing about McLame's rival so I can't comment on his winning. All I can say is I would have loved to see him loose (but not if his opposition was even more of a nutcase that "the maverick").
