What Madoff did was bad, but What Wall Street Did was much worse... |

Madoff is a nice diversion for the Wall Street firms that engaged in behavior that almost brought down the entire financial system and required billions of dollars in tax payer bailout $$.
So who gets top billing and is subject of a special report on CNBC? Madoff of course.
At least Madoff victims could have guessed years of consistent profitable returns(no matter how the economy and stockmarket swung up or down) was too good to be true.
We need more investigative reporting on the 'too big to fail banks' and less stories on Madoff.
