Dear Mr President
Dear Mr President

Here I am again, writing yet another letter to you that probably won't get read, but here goes anyway.

I'm the little guy. I have a little job, a little house, a little family and I used to have a little money until GW and company came along. I've worked as hard as I can, paid my taxes, and oh yeah, I've paid into social security for 30 years.

Now, about this Alan Simpson character. This guy has really pissed me off. Bad! I understand he's co-chair of a bipartisan commission and he's on the republican side, but is his crap really necessary ?

I mean, really Mr President, if you could try to look at it from the little guy's perspective for a minute. We don't have a lot, most of us have less than our parents after 30 years of neoconservative economic terrorism from Reagan forward. The last thing we need to hear is more of that same broken record we've been getting from the right about what a bunch of freeloaders we are because we weren't born with a silver spoon.

You might as well go ahead and cut him loose, what he said is an honest and accurate summary of what any damn republican has to contribute to the discussion. It's all they know.

What we need are some fresh ideas and real solutions and a dried up old republican turd like Simpson doesn't have either

Sincerely

LM

5. Good point!
I probably left out a lot more, but I always blow the 2500 character limit on submissions and I wanted to get that one in.
