All due respect but I think Ron Paul is a git. |
|
Better than any of the other GOPrano candidates but I still think he's full of shit. Sorry.
He mentioned that the US had been bombing Iraq for years, which is why we were attacked on 9/11. So basically, he's perpetuating the myth that Iraq was behind 9/11 and needs to be called on it.
BTW, Rudy Guiliani is a punk ass bitch.

I wondered if he meant bombing the Middle East in general, but it came off as though he meant only Iraq.
It always amazes me that people don't realize that Afghanistan was the response to 9/11. Iraq was Bush's own personal adventure for what I still cannot figure out (although I certainly have my theories)

All of a sudden, Democrats are drooling over Ron Paul, like he's the first person on this planet that discovered the truth.
He's supposedly a Libertarian, and believes that government should be scaled back, or dismantled. The irony is that he is very anti-choice, and would put laws in place to ensure the one part of government that remains is the laws that federalize women's bodies.
Never forget that this man is still a Repuke.

Only for people who are too stupid to understand what he meant.

7. I do too, but I vote on all the polls to support him. |
|
 He at least brings a little honesty to the republican debate. And I do mean little. They are going to challenge him in his house seat because of the statement on Iraq he made in the debate. He did vote against the war. http://www.redstate.com/blogs/ericdondero/2007/may/16/i_am_declaring_for_congress_against_ron_paul_in_texas_cd_14

His general message was that we've been involved in the Middle East for years, and that's created a lot of hostility in the Muslim world. And he's right on with that.
He's not at all "full of shit." In fact, he's right on the money on Trade, Illegal Immigration, Iraq, and the minimum wage. He's the biggest advocate for American workers of any candidate, including the Democrats. (All of whom are free traders and would happily ship all of our jobs to foreign countries, with the exceptions of Kucinich, and Edwards to a lesser extent).

10. Need to undertand what he meant |
|
the 9.11 attacks were blowback... he mentioned that repeteadly.
yes he is a gift, he is the only one among them that could be trusted with the white house... and that is saying much
After all his libertarian (hard right) politics are just as dangerous as the neo cons one
But at least he'd do thigns for the good of the country, not the corporations
this does not mean I'd vote for him... but I have followwed his rants durng special sessions agains the Neocons... and boy he hates them, and I mean the word hate, far more than many of us
