Have fun,and thanks as always...

http://www.elliscountypress.com/editorials/9826-opinion-should-there-be-a-mosque-at-ground-zero.html

This morning I woke up and turned on my computer and was assailed by multiple people from various different groups and individuals all expressing their dislike and outrage at the mosque being proposed to go near the sacred site of the disaster which occurred on 9/11.

And I think they are right.

The site where the atrocity happened on 9/11 is a place not just valued because Americans died there.

It is the place where America was struck by Islamic terrorists for the purpose of striking fear into the hearts of Americans and cause us to cower from them as they believe all infidels should in the path of their religion and their Allah.

On that day nine years ago, as one nation we watched the devastation wrought on an unsuspecting people by a treacherous group of detestable thugs in the name of a god that is most definitely not the God of the American people, regardless of what Obama likes to allude to in his speeches while bowing to their leaders.

1. and this,RE Palin
http://www.elliscountypress.com/editorials/9822-Simply-Speaking%3A-%E2%80%98A-Rare-Diamond%E2%80%99.html

It’s no secret Sarah Palin is a favorite of mine. There are reasons. Appearing seemingly out of nowhere in the 2008 Presidential Race, she converted a Republican nothing-campaign into something exciting, the vice president part anyway.

By the way, I read Palin’s book, "Going Rogue, An American Life" via CD, read by Sarah herself, and am thoroughly convinced she’s the genuine article, a rare diamond in the not-so-rough-at-all.

So there are points to be made with Sarah now in the national political mix. Although she’s a perfect match to the very conservative Republican Party Platform, we don’t hear the usual party ballyhoo coming from her. As a matter of fact, upon being elected governor of Alaska, her first meaningful acts were to clean out the poor excuses for Republicans who were in Juneau when she arrived.

MUCH more at site...by a guy who signs all his editorials with
"May Yahweh God bless through Yeshua, Christ Jesus the Lord."

2. and this one..."Seeing Donkeys"
http://www.elliscountypress.com/editorials/9821-Jon%E2%80%99s-VU%21-Seein%E2%80%99-donkeys.html

An ol’e guy I know had a problem, when he imbibed too much booze he would see things. His wife took him to the family doctor, who ask what he was seeing now? Donkeys, he said!! Of course the good doc gave him an expensive prescription and a talk about cutting off booze. When he came back the good doctor re-examined him……

See there, it takes so little to make an ole man happy! I was listening to Glenn Beck on Fox news. He must have read one of my old columns. He was explaining the difference between a Democracy what Washington politicians keep saying we have, and a republic, the one referred to in the pledge of allegiance. Since most politicians don’t seem to know the difference, naturally they don’t feel the need to serve the people they are supposed to represent. In a true Democracy, every one in the country would get to vote on everything including making congress work for minimum wages!

3. and this one re: financial reform law
http://www.elliscountypress.com/editorials/9820-does-the-new-financial-reform-law-protect-you.html

duffhale@ev1.net

So. Now that Barack Hussein Obama has signed the new 2,394 page Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act into law do you feel more confident about your financial security, your savings and your future? I know I don’t.

What that legislation really consists of is lots of provisions that have very little to do with the financial crisis but a plethora of goodies for the long-standing agendas of labor unions and other Democrat interest groups.

One of the biggies is a measure to make it easier for unions, environmental groups and other activist organizations that own shares in a company to put their representatives on the boards of directors of every corporation in the United States.

This so-called "proxy access" provision, which activist groups say they will use to improve oversight of corporate financial practices (if you believe that I have a bridge I’d like to sell you), has gotten a thumbs down from many business organizations across the nation including the Business Roundtable, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and other major business groups.

Additionally, the Dodd-Frank legislation would impose costly new regulatory burdens on businesses such as airlines, utilities and other non-financial businesses that were victims of the crises rather than villains.

Other provisions of the bill, which the Senate passed on July 15, favor Democrat constituencies directly by requiring banks and federal agencies to do more business with them. It would create more than 20 "offices of minority and women inclusion" at the Treasury Department, Federal Reserve and other government agencies to ensure they employ more minorities and women and grant more federal contracts to minority-owned businesses.

5. more from this editorial...from the "Good Christian"
Make no mistake, we are in a full scale war, not with bullets or bombs (yet), not of invading Redcoats (1773), nor of invading Bluecoats (1861), but now it is a war between the Red and the Blue (states, counties, cities, right down to local precincts).

Sarah Palin continues to fight the good fight against seemingly insurmountable odds, but she is more than holding her own. Though we’ll not hear of (P)MSNBC’s Chris Matthews gushing, "I felt this thrill going up my leg," as he did after hearing an Obama speech, we must take that as good news.

Our battles in this hot political and moral war must begin at home in our prayer closets and on our knees. Then we will begin to replace the stragglers and worn out or no good politicians with fresh troops, if you will. These fresh soldiers will not be easy to find, kinda like looking for a diamond in the not-so -rough-at-all, but they must be there if we are to begin to turn around our precincts, our counties, our cities and states; and all of America.
