I must be watching the wrong stream? |
|
The mall is packed with tens of thousands of people. Alveda King, MLK's niece is speaking and there was an African American lady singing about rebuilding.
Is this really a Tea Party rally?

2. All the black people are props on stage. |
|
I think maybe 5 black people were in the crowd itself.

4. This is their attempt to prove they are inclusive... |
|
The Tea Party has evolved into something revolutionary (or counter revolutionary if you like) in nature, and they are trying to prove they aren't a bunch of armed militants.
They are using these African Americans and Hispanics to put a happy face on their movement.
From what I've seen they have put together a fairly impressive rally, but it is nowhere near enough to hide what they really represent.

8. Ofcourse they are going to say that... |

A good rule of thumb used to be to take the organizer crowd estimates and divide by 3, but nowadays you probably need to divide by 10. Both sides/all sides exaggerate these numbers. You can't trust the organizer turnout numbers from any group (left or right) as they have an interest in jacking up the totals to create more of a story in the media.
If they are claiming 450k, it's a good bet there are actually 45k or so. That is still a good turnout for them.

9. Nah. Too many open patches of |
|
green grass in too many places. There is never a stitch of grass available that close to the stage at a crowded rally. I call BS.

10. Where are the Saudis? Or are they at the bank adding up their Fox profits? |
|
Or is Fox just hiding their Saudi backers so the baggers will stay confused?
