3. I considered it, but Mojo is a term for Cocaine |

which I don't support, so I figured better safe than sorry. The OP might have not realized it was for cocaine and not cannabis.

7. Actually, I think "Mojo" is usually slang for something like "magic power" |
|
I've been away from any drug circles for many decades, so I can't address recent usage
About forty years ago, I actually did from time to time hear people say "mojo" as an obvious alternative to "Maria Juanita" or "Mary Jane" -- both of which were considered a bit corny by then
I never heard it used to describe cocaine, but it would be entirely consistent with the psychological effects of cocaine, and the traditional sort of "magic power" meaning of "mojo," to use "mojo" as slang for cocaine

End the useless wars--or at least let the warmongers pay for them out of their own pockets. End the marriage bans, DADT, DOMA. End the ban on pot. It has many therapeutic uses and is safer than alcohol. There's no legitimate reason to have ban on it. End government funding of religion/religious efforts ("Faith Based Initiative", National Day of Prayer, etc.).
There are more but I can't think of them at the moment.

9. End the wars, end empire, chop the Pentagon down to a defense force |
|
while eliminating their ability to put forth silly theories like the domino theory and their silly paranoia about Saddam Hussein and now Iran. Getting their hands out of my pockets will allow us to build a better, safer, and more equitable country for all of us. I don't mind paying my taxes. I deeply resent it when they pay for round the world golf courses for generals and death for American kids.
Get the nanny state's nose out of my life. I am a grownup and I am entitled to make my own choices in life, even if prissier people think those choices are foolish one.
Get the nanny state's nose out of my personal communication: online, on the phone, and mail. I'm sick of getting my mail opened by some Nosy Parker in the post office because it's a fund raising item from some lefty cause or other.
In short, get government out of the bedroom and back into the boardroom where it belongs, protecting we the people against them the greedy and powerful.

11. Dunno for sure, but maybe you and your neighbor could both move to Texas: |
|
IIRC, the official state motto is "Shoot first! Ask questions later!" and "He just needed shooting" was an allowable defense in court
But it's been quite a few years since I lived there and YMMV

13. Why would I want the government out of my life? |
|
The government has either loaned or outright given me thousands and thousands of dollars, so I could go to school and earn advanced degrees.
Granted, I'd prefer that the government do more giving than loaning, but why would I want them out of my life?

I don't think anyone should be denied personal choice freedom. On the economic side howver i trend heavily to the Left. Not the weenie Demo left but the hard old school LEFT.

16. I don't much believe in triangulation but I am always tempted to steal and reframe |

the other side's issues
The ironies and inconsistencies in the wingnut anti-government POV are abundant, and it's worthwhile to look for good soundbites that expose the ironies and inconsistencies
I don't think there are many libertarian "government out of everything" folk here at DU: I'm certainly not one. I believe in student loans, public water supplies, social security, public health care and more
