If I were a strategist for the cabal bent on taking control of what was once called our democracy |
|
I would take the long view. I'd start by looking at history. The cabal started by installing a useful idiot.
Ronald Reagan was that useful idiot. He was the puppet; his handlers ran the job. His top handler succeeded him.
As cover, a non-insider was allowed to win. That would be Big Dawg.
His successor has to be the cabal again. The idea was that the insider would be in the top job, but he simply wasn't smart enough. But he was compliant enough. The Idiot Son got the puppet slot and a cabal insider was installed to run things. They go much farther than anyone had thus far, but in the process they crashed the economy.
As cover again, they clear the way for a non insider. Obama. But in the process they plan for his successor and realize how very successful was the scam the last time they ran it. They pick a sure fire loser to head the ticket - McCain. They pair him with the next useful idiot.
At their next chance - maybe 2012, surely 2016 - they run as their ticket:
Palin/Bush

2. Owning the media is what allows them to control the "voting" results |
|
They make their larceny into a believable outcome.

But I've learned that even deep cynicism about the cabal is never low enough. They will do more evil than even we cynics can predict.
With regards to what you are specifically saying, I'll go even further. I believe that Obama was considered a place holder, and that deliberate losers were made Republican candidates. Obama would placate millions of old liberals and millions of minorities by giving them something they dreamed of and worked for for decades -- a Black president. But he would not give them a progressive agenda -- and he would not upturn Wall Street and Big Business. He would be allowed one term.
And now we await the next. A useful idiot? A charismatic fascist? A puppet posing as a paleo-conservative?
I honestly don't think that any of us has much say in the story -- not while voting process is still corrupted and there is disinterest in the land.

11. there doesn't have to be a depression |
|
We citizens are allowing this to happen because we won't DEMAND the actions that would turn it around.
Tax the rich their fair share.
End corporate welfare.
Enact legislation that encourages return of jobs to U.S. and discourages offshoring.
Pass a significant stimulus now, to every adult.

the Bush name is poison and Palin isn't a good puppet. She quits too easily and doesn't listen to those who are really in control (even McCain couldn't rein her in). Nah-they'll probably run Romney.

6. they might run Romney but |

are the Divided States of America ready for a poligamist as president? Are they ready for a Mormon to hold the reigns? I think the baggage will disallow him to ascend.
I also believe nute is out too, way too many things about him plus he's had his moment in the sun.
Now,who will they run? I have the feeling it's going to be a southerner, but which one? Barbour? Jebby?(doubtful, but standing in the wings just in case), jeez, are there any untainted pukes out there? I don't think so.
So watch the DLC mess the entire election cycle up, rolling on their backs and waiting for their masters to scratch their bellies.
Ya know what, after reading this post, I realized how cynical I've become.
:wtf:
