Lowes drops O'Reilly Factor Ads...
Apparently they received some letters after O'Reilly's attack on kidnapped kid Shaun Hornbeck. While O'Reilly has denied he said, what he is on tape saying, it didn't help with this advertiser.

2. Glad to see Lowes did the right thing on this one
While I prefer to support my local mom and pop operations, sometimes I have to swallow that pill and head to the big box stores. This will make those infrequent trips to Lowes a bit more palatable.

Poor Bill. I really feel sorry for him. No, really, I do. Quit laughing, I'm series.

5. Hey, a big pat on the back to DU!
I'm sure we helped in this process, at least somewhat. I bet TONS of our members wrote to complain to o'LIElly, or at least Olbermann, who then would have mentioned it on his show. Good work and good for Lowes!

9. One can only hope that
more and more advertisers see the light and drop from the programs that promote hate, intolerance and WH lies....one can only hope but I'm not holding my breath.

11. There is finally a Lowe's on my side of the river
and it's nice to know I can now have a big box store to patronize again.

Home Depot has been practically destroyed. The shelves get barer every month, the sales staff sparser and less knowledgeable, the whole experience even more unpleasant than it was the last time.

There are no more mom & pop hardware stores here.

I'm a big time Lowes shopper since there is no Mom and Pop place close by. I'm always buying birdseed there.
