Quran burning or the "mosque" in lower Manhattan, you'll hear the inbreeder element talk about learning all they needed to learn about Islam on 9/11/01, or they'll talk about the barbarity of Muslims and so on. If we're keeping score, we can stop now. We won. We killed a million of them (I assume you're referring to the Lancet's numbers). I don't hew to the "us against" them framing, but if that's the frame that's in use, it seems clear to me that we have caused a GREAT DEAL more suffering in the Muslim world than vice versa. Don't guess that would matter much to the hateful people spreading this sort of thinking.
