I have been told that your web site unofficially bans anyone who "doesn't preach to the choir." I made one entry, and have been challenged to back-up what I had to say. I now cannot log-in. What is the problem?? Is that unofficial ban in progress with me? If I cannot get back to your site, I will pass on what has occurred to me to every web site or chat room I visit, regardless of political persuasion. I other words, I will make your web site look as bad as I think that it really is. Either allow me back in, or I will bad mouth the web site to the extreme.

Did you see how the media handled the election of 2001 or the invasion of Iraq and numerous other stories at that time? DU decided we did not need any more right-wing regurgitation and did not allow right-wing positions on the website. That is what made DU different from every other website.

I don't post much any more because the site has become hyper sensitive. When we have to watch what we say the site no longer has free expression.

Sane and fact-based analysis has always been okay here, no matter where it leads. If you're respectful of others here, and are able to defend your arguments without insult to those who differ, question or criticize, this is still one of the last refuges on the web for unorthodox and creative discussion about the role of the Pentagon and CIA in American history. No matter where that leads . . .

I wonder if this is the same dougr who has spread disinformation in the BP oil spill? My guess is that it could be, conspiracy is his racket.
