They tried to tell that because the number changed, it meant my vote was correctly recorded but I damn well know it doesn't.
On the plus side, my party did give me a senatorial primary, with no publicity, comment, or information whatsoever but it was a primary. Therefore I will keep my word and vote for the Democratic candidate for Senator in November. A deal's a deal.

And there is a paper backup that goes into a locked box to do a recount, if necessary. It's the same kind of machine that's used to grade tests ever since I was in college, and that was a long, long time ago.
