The Tea Party: From rebellion to absurdity |
|
Best quote from the article "I could buy a parrot and train it to say, ‘tax cuts,’ but at the end of the day, it’s still a parrot, not a conservative." http://voices.washingtonpost.com/postpartisan/2010/09/the_tea_party_from_rebellion_t.html

1. Someone had posted something similar about tea bags |

earlier. I think the republicans who are upset with these tea bag candidates should either vote for the Democrat or stay home. If the tea bags get in the republican party as it is today is done for. The tea bags no way no how would cooperate with real republicans. They will form their own group and try to make the republicans go along with them. And just think if the get in , it will be a stepping stone for Palin and Bachmann to really take over the government. Why do you think Bachmann formed the tea bag group in congress. She wanted to be in charge because she thinks she is going to win and the tea bags are also going to win and viola....she will be the big wheel in the congress and maybe a stepping stone to the presidency.
I think the republicans had better start looking at their options and the one isn't pretty. The republicans have to make sure these crazoid tea bags don't win and thus set up their take over of the republicans, or make sure they don't and save their party. Tough choice. They either have to suck it up and let the Democrats run things for another two years, and they know that no matter what we AIN'T that bad, or let the tea bags in and they (the republicans of today) will be a thing of the past.
