Did Scarborough call someone a "queer" this morning?

I think it was around 7:40am-7:45am ET. They had just come back from break, and Scarborough was talking to the "Young Guns" (barf) and Mika was talking about how cute they were (barf). It sounded as though Joe was making fun of someone for the way they were dressed (Halperin in his workout clothes?), and then they cut away to Mika and Halperin, and it sounded like Joe yelled, "queer!"

Did anyone hear this? Or can anyone check and tell me exactly what he yelled out?

1. Not sure. I saw that segment but don't recall what he said.

I think he was snarking on Halperin, who looked faintly ridiculous.

Hope Joe wasn't trying to say something about Jonathan Capehart, who is one of my all time favorite guests on his show...

2. I watched from 6 a.m. to 7:15 so I didn't see the part in question

I plan on watching it later on DVR as I was amazed how much he was tearing O'Donnell apart on the truth/character issue.

While not out of the realm of possibility, I would think if he said it someone else would have heard it, complained about it (esp. since one of their regular commentators who was on site (Jonathan Capehart) is homosexual) and Joe's chair would have been vacant shortly thereafter.

I don't think Capehart was around. I assumed he was talking about Halperin, who -- as the other poster said -- did look a bit ridiculous in his workout clothes. It seems like Scarborough wouldn't have been dumb enough to say something like that, but it sure sounded like it, and after he said it, Halperin reacted, sort of raised his eyebrows and looked down to the ground.

PS - Speaking of Morning Joe antics, did anyone see recently where they cut to the guy in the control room (the one with curly red-hair) and you could clearly see him yelling, "FUUUUCK!" at the two hosts because they were going on about something instead of getting on with the show. I can see why the poor guy had an aneurysm.

4. I saw the control room incident - I think they said he was an intern/assistant

he definitely wasn't the regular guy who runs the show.

I think it was Monday (IIRC) and the guys (Joe, Willie, Mike and the early guests) were talking football (predominantly the Lions game) well over the time frame where Mika should have been doing the news. I believe this is what resulted in the control room shot.

I think Mika finally got to reading the news about 1 minute before the first show break and then coming back they had to go right into the Politico segment.
