US military announced that three US soldiers were killed and one wounded Thursday when a roadside bomb went off near their patrol south of Baghdad as search operations for three missing US soldiers continued.
The three soldiers were reported missing after an attack Saturday to the west of the town of Mahmudiya, 35 kilometres south of Baghdad, in which four servicemen and an Iraqi were killed.
