for any kind of military expertise, anyhow? I think it's ridiculous to go to a guy who spent most of his time in Vietnam in a POW camp. That's like asking GWB to explain how the Blue Angels learn all those fancy moves.

David Border of the Washington Post for one has produced any number of columns, probably dozens, that amount to nothing more than in-print blow jobs.
I can't see where the guy EVER amounted to a bucket of warm piss, but for some reason, probably laziness, these hacks seized on the "maverick" thing years ago, and still are laboring under the delusion that mccain was always a maverick, let alone is still one after his disgusting whoring of the past few years.
