What about the FBI's possible material support of terrorism? |
|
Edited on Tue Sep-28-10 12:02 AM by noise
Do they get a pass simply for authoritarian reasons?
Evidently FBI counterterrorism agents don't have to explain their bizarre conduct in relation to obstructed Al QAEDA INVESTIGATIONS. Instead they get bailed out by national security classification laws. I'm referring to the FBI's bizarre conduct in relation to 9/11 hijackers Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar. Even though they were linked to USS Cole attack terrorists, the FBI UBLU (Usama Bin Laden Unit) withheld information about them from criminal side agents.

2. The basic info is in the DOJ IG 9/11 report |
|
You are right. The FBI evidently doesn't believe they answer to the public. Their conduct is not up for review. Only members of the public should have their patriotism questioned.

3. I think Dick Cheney is lurking the halls of Justice |

and giving out orders from the darkness. Didn't Obama clean up the Justice Department or did he leave Bush/Cheny goons in charge?

4. Good question. People shoudl read the trial transcripts |
|
of the 1993 WTC bombing to see how close the FBI was with one of those terrorists also. Funny how little is known about those seven-year trials and how much information was revealed. It was the reason why many NYers who actually followed those trials had little faith in this government and their claims of protecting the American people.

5. The FBI are just another gang of corrupt pigs. |
|
Incompetent and corrupt. Sure, there are some good agents, but remember when some of them were warning about weird Saudi dudes enrolling in flight schools to learn how to takeoff and fly airplanes, but learning to land was not important? Those agents were told by their superiors to STFU. The FBI had a large part in allowing 9/11 to take place.
The recent raids of peace activists homes was coin-tel-pro all over again. In reality it never stopped. FBI, as well as local pigs have been spying on and harassing activists for many decades.
Environmental activists and animal rights activists have regularly been accused of being terrorists. Remember the Earth First incident?
From wiki: In 1990, a bomb exploded in Judi Bari's car, shattering her pelvis and also injuring fellow activist Darryl Cherney. Bari and Cherney were later arrested after police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation suspected that they had been transporting the bomb when it accidentally exploded.
The case against them was eventually dropped due to lack of evidence. Bari died in 1997 of cancer, but her federal lawsuit against the FBI and Oakland, California police resulted in a 2002 jury verdict awarding her estate and Darryl Cherney a total of $4.4 million.<17> Eighty percent of the damages were for violation of their First Amendment rights by the FBI and police trying to discredit them in the media as violent extremists despite ample evidence to the contrary. The bombing remains unsolved.
President Obama, call off your fucking thugs!
