At one time, a Banana Republic was a poor country with untapped resources, an uneducated population, and a small group of tyrants that knew how to exploit the population and keep them in servitude.
Welcome to America – Banana Republic 2.0.
A small group of super wealthy tyrants now own almost everything that was once America. They control most of the information we receive. They own most of the goods produced and the means of distribution. They own far too many of those for whom we vote. They own most of the means by which we cast our votes. And they own what’s left of America’s natural resources.
Who are they? Well, we know about the Koch brothers, we know about Rupert Murdoch, and we know about Richard Mellon Scaife who spent years trying to destroy the Clintons. But there are so many more whose names we don’t know and who own and/or control our institutions, our national wealth, and our national and foreign policies. And in owning all these things, they also own us.
How did this happen? There are many explanations, starting with the premise from the film “Wall Street,” that “greed is good,” To those who own America, greed is not just good, it is the natural order of things. It is the “survival of the fittest.” The rest of us are just cattle to be used and finally devoured.
So let me get to the bottom line here. Far too many Americans are being herded into ignorance and eventual poverty. How do we fight back? How do we do battle against forces we can’t even identify? How do we reverse our status as Banana Republic 2.0?
I wish I had the answers. Any suggestions?

1. Being a vegetarian, I am ashamed to say this. But we should "reverse our status" and treat |
|
them like cattle. Round 'em up. Sledgehammer to the head. Use any useful parts that can be found (this may not actually produce any salvageable items). But as long as they have the horses and ropes and fences, we will continue to be slaughtered.

2. I don't agree with your means of retribution. However, the real question is |
|
who are the "THEM?" And even if we could identify them, how do we go about ending their reign of destruction?
