Remember the celebrations after Obama was elected? |

All the happy tears, all the pride, all the hope that Obama represented to millions?
While we were rejoicing, there was another group of Americans who were feeling sick to their stomachs -- with hate and fear. They are at the root of the Tea Party movement, the ones who say Obama is "the other." Not a "real" American.
Anything we do to undermine Obama, including withholding our votes from Dems because we think their political compromises have gone too far, strengthens them and their view of America. Is that what any of us really want?

Sick of the 'take back our country' meme from the TPers and Repubs. Really? Is it anyone's country to "take" one way or the other? Hate that.
