This is what you do when someone who works for you insults one of your constituencies.

19. Uh anti- semitism is wrong
What he said is as bad as dr. Laura using the N word. So let me get your views straight- I criticize LeBron and I'm a racist but Sanchez makes comments that neo- Nazis and other hate groups promote and that's simply " dissing the Jews". got it.

I said that there was much racism on DU regrading LeBron but did not single you out in the comment.

Why the guilt?

10. "Like lightning from on high." It has been said that Jesus was a Jew.
I wonder how those on the right will spin this. Good for CNN, best they have done in ages. Could Wolfie goof and be next? Hope, hope.

12. I don't think it helped ..
to play "the media (including my own employer) is run by Jews" shtick. When he was ragging on Jon Stewart, referring to "people like him," he was really meaning, um, Jews.

Put that together with the recent revelation that the Holocaust Museum attacker was planning to assassinate David Axelrod specifically because he was Jewish (and all that implies to a certain segment of society), and you have a tinderbox. Sanchez fired himself. It was like committing suicide.

13. He was just the victim of the anti-Semitic slur
CNN canned the guy for doing that, it wouldn't matter who he said it of.

in the corporate press. It would have been a valid point had he not said anything about Stewart being Jewish, which is something Sanchez didn't even mention until he was asked about it. I think Sanchez is right that Jews are not an oppressed minority in the modern news world. How many Hispanics and African-Americans are on national news programs? It's not a fair comparison to make.

You realize there is more than a hint of bigotry in your comments? You are implying that it only happened because the media is controlled by Jews perhaps. As a person of that heritage can I tell you that your insinuation is no better than what Sanchez says. I have encountered your attitude before and it's almost worse than the openly anti- Semitic assptions. You don't remember Dr. Laura and the N word?
Your post is yet another example of how common anti- Semitic attitudes are. Don't even bother to defend yourself. Your bigotry is common and I've gotten quite used to seeing it here on DU. You make me sick.

22. So you're OK with xenophobia and anti-hispanic racism?
I can make accusations too if you want to play that game. Could you explain why CNN tolerated Lou Dobbs for so many years? No, I'm not saying Jews run the media. I am saying that CNN tolerates some forms of bigotry more than others.

23. The other poster is correct
What he saying has nothing to do with Mr.Stewart or who controls the media companies. It is a comment on what plays on the "news" shows these days, what is considered acceptable by the majority, and it is dead on.

It makes it all the clearer what Sanchez is.

And it makes it all the clearer what Fox is.

I hope they're very happy together.

Jon Stewart is the king of all media, seizing power with wit, charm, and personality.
Looks like Dirty Sanchez will be adding some salsa to Pox News.
