WHO is telling us that there's a Democratic "Enthusiasm Gap" in this coming election?
And WHY are they telling us this?

I have a feeling that the REAL answers would be very revealing indeed.

2. That's the meme going around all the Georgetown Cocktail parties right now
If you want to know what is going to be on the nightly news on Monday you just have to go to a Georgetown Cocktail party on Saturday.

3. Extensive, repeated, consistent polling?
The right response is not to indulge in convenient fantasy. The right response is to vote--and to make sure everyone you know (who'll vote for Democrats) votes, too.

4. it's kind of like when the tea baggers were throwing temper tantrums in town halls.......
....remember the august before health care was passed? They all thought the majority of the country was against health care reform. Why did they think that? Because the only watched Faux.....of course they thought many were against HCR! When in fact, about 65 - 70% of the country wanted HCR!

5. EVERYONE in the media - cable, tv, print, blogs
Personally, I CAN'T WAIT to vote. Those of us in CA get to vote on legalizing MJ!!!!! Or, cutting the profits of the prison complex, the alchohol industry, and big pharma.

We're voting to keep recreational users out of prison. We're voting to clear out the court dockets and let police enforce serious crimes. Think of the tourism and taxes.

This is big - big for CA and big for the nation. If it passes there is a good chance it will go to the courts, I get that. But still, we're voting on it, it's in the dialogue and there is no putting this cat back in the bag.

I don't smoke, and this law won't change anything for me. But it will change our society. To me this is bigger than voting for Obama -though that was pretty cool too!

7. MSM "News" exists to sell shit you don't need, and loves "controversy",
real or manufactured. The "enthusiasm gap" is bullshit, but gets people's attention and makes people nervous or excited, therefor is desirable to the media...PLUS, there is a element that wants Democrats to believe they have no chance and so should not bother to vote, just give up to the coming "republican tide"...also bullshit.
