Bush complains about size of CEO packages
OK, I just have to admit that the headline cracked me up. It was my Jr High mentality creeping back in for a few minutes..

But here is the story in case you want to read it.

NEW YORK (Reuters) -
President Bush on Wednesday complained about the size of corporate executives' pay packages and urged boards to make sure they are tied more closely to companies' performance.

Multimillion-dollar CEO paydays at companies such as Home Depot and Pfizer Inc. have drawn Washington's attention to the issue.

"Government should not decide the compensation for America's corporate executives. But the salaries and bonuses of CEOs should be based on their success at improving their companies and bringing value to their shareholders," Bush said in a speech on the U.S. economy in New York."

1. Since bush said it, I was thinking packages as in mail from the post office...
Never occured to me he'd be concerned about their 'pay' packages unless he thought they weren't big enough.

2. Who better to hold corporate America's feet to the fire?
The man who couldn't find oil in Texas and traded Sammy Sosa right before his record-setting career. Oh, and he was "Kenny-Boy's" buddy.

10. What about his future cell mate Lee Raymond?
Yeah, there's something fishy about taking a $400 million retirement package from Exxon Mobil, then quitting the company...
