A big shout out and thank you to all of you DU nurses and medical professionals

I've just spent the last 48 hours in the cardiac care unit with my dad and I am so grateful for the wonderful care and compassion that the nursing staff has given to my dad.

Thank you to all of you nurses and medical professionals who provide care and comfort to patients and their families. You make very painful situations bearable. You offer kindness, a little bit of much-needed humor, information, assurance, compassion.

My hope is that everyone would have access to the wonderful care that has been extended to my dad. You guys are the greatest, and I just wanted to express my profound gratitude to every one of you who have eased the burden of sick patients and their families.

Single payer for all!

4. Thanks Suich! I wish everyone received the same care and compassion.

My dad has commented several times over the past 2 days that he wondered what would happen to people in the same situation that didn't have health insurance.

3. Indeed. My sis was just diagnosed with cancer. Her nurses were kind, compassionate, cheery,

and consummate professionals.

I've been hospitalized many times in my life and have always, always appreciated the great care I've received.
