Poll question: If Congress passes a bill that extends all of the Bush tax cuts what SHOULD Obama do?
Rather than trying to predict what the President will do if such a bill is presented to him, what do you think he SHOULD do if said bill arrives at his desk?

A veto would sunset the tax cuts and Americans would have their taxes return to the higher rate.

1. I voted to veto ...I also think he could get a tax break for
the rest of us...I doubt that the repugs would vote against it...but if he couldn't I would still vote against it..

2. Signing statement to poof! away the taxcuts for the rich
And we can thank the previous president for giving an expanded legitimacy to the use of signing statements.

5. I find it interesting how many more people think Obama SHOULD veto it then think he WILL veto it.

7. Just pass it and pick another fight.
In this economy, keeping taxes lower for the poor and middle class is more important than raising them for everyone just to make sure the rich pay more. There are other ways, something we could look into while we have the majority.
