O'Malley (D) just two points ahead of Ehrlich (R). What the hell is going on in Maryland?!?
I got this email today...

Dear XXX,

What: Please come in and make calls to get out the early vote for Gov. O'Malley

Why:

Gov. O'Malley has just a 2-point lead in the most recent poll
If Bob Ehrlich wins, he will block progressive policies for Maryland, including those for health care, education and environment
A win by Gov. O'Malley will help President Obama and Democrats move America forward

Where:
Kensington: 3750 University Blvd. West, Suite 303 - (240) 242-5750
Bethesda: 7934 Wisconsin Ave. - (443) 473-0760
Gaithersburg: 200 Professional Dr., Suite 220 - (301) 503-1173
Germantown: 12850 Middlebrook Rd., Suite 480 - (301) 919-2950

When:
Any day, any time, 10 AM to 9 PM
Scheduling in advance is nice, but not required
Come whenever you can - give us whatever time you can
I look forward to seeing you soon!

Best,

Jon Randall

2. O'Malley's been leading by around 10 points in every recent poll I've heard about.
I think he's trying to use an outlier to get you guys motivated to work until the last bell. If it works, even better.

5. Ehrlich is a crook
when he was in office he fired all the Democrats in state government, whether they had were people who had earned the job thru tests etc. He and Steele also pulled some kind of deal about the airport. And they never followed thru on it. The Sun is not overly republican but they could publish a lot of stuff Ehrlich did while in office. The last time he ran he was a crooked in that as he was once he got in office.

For one thing he went to DC got bus loads of homeless and turned them loose in the black section of PG County and Baltimore City and County. They knocked on doors and handed out forged literature showing Ehrlich's picture taken with a lot of Democrats and black leaders. But it was not true. They photo shopped Ehrlich's picture over Kathleen Kennedy's. Then they flooded the Baltimore City and Country area with place cards telling people that if they were behind in their utilities then they had police officers at the poll ready to grab them and lock them up. And to top that he had them post cards thruout the black part of the city that they had reassigned the voting to Wednesday instead of Tuesday because the machines had to be fixed. So how's that for voter fraud.

9. Yeah! There's a long list of lies and corruption. And Steele was the worst!
He lied about being pelted with Oreos at an NAACP event at Howard University. That lie is legendary!
He lied about being endorsed by black Democrats in PG County.
He lied on Cardin, complaining that Cardin ran a negative campaign.

He and Ehrlich hired poor black homeless people from the Philly area, paying them to tell area blacks that election day was on Wednesday, not Tuesday. They got away with that.

Raised state tuition for University of Maryland System colleges.

So much corruption. So many lies.

I hope Marylanders haven't forgotten about this shit!!!!! :puke::puke:

10. I thought that perhaps the most recent debates went well for Ehrlich.
The local media here hasn't been that kind to O'Malley, but he is the incumbent.

Happy to see the great commercials on O'Malley's behalf, though. Ehrlich's commercials are full of lies!!

11. Huh? The polls for the last several weeks (and at the end of the week) have
O'Malley up by nearly ten points.
