Let's talk "sacrifice"...

We are up to our eyeballs in debt and we must sacrifice. When we say "sacrifice", we do not mean the millionaires or the billionaires or the Defense Department, we mean you.

As Senator Durbin pointed out this morning, we can secure Social Security for 25 more years if we simply pay the same Social Security taxes as in 1983, during the Reagan years. Also, in 25 years, a big percentage of "Baby Boomers" will be dead and no longer on the dole. Never mind that they have paid more into the Social Security fund than anyone. But they need to sacrifice.

After all, the millionaires and billionaires need their money to invest overseas and in the stock markets. We could never ask them to sacrifice just a little. The country could not survive.

So we ask the most needy and the poorest in our society to sacrifice. That's just the way it is.

No way we should cut the welfare of the Defense contractors. No way we should close the tax loopholes of the millionaires. The billionaires appreciate what America has done for them but screw you! You are not deserving of healthcare or a monthly stipend to live on. We need you to work until you fall over. You need to shut up and sacrifice.
