Senator Biden needs to acquaint himself with some that came before him. When you are so busy concocting bills that benefit the credit card companies and are of detriment to the common man and woman, you're bound to miss some history along the way.

1. Also Carol Mosely-Braun ran in 2004.
I don't know Rev. Sharpton's background very well, but even if he was not clean in the legal sense (and I'm not saying he isn't) he sure as hell was articulate.

I really think that the above sentiment is what is behind Biden's words. Those who are "unapologetically" Black are seen as non-mainstream.

I in no way am trying to imply that Obama is apologetic for his "Blackness", I am simply pointing out how many whites who do not believe that they are racists view Blacks. Mainstream to them means a new version of "passing". It makes the non-racists racists feel comfortable.
