I am sick of hearing the media say ''getting ready for the elections Nov 2nd'' - ppl are voting now! |
|

The elections are in progress NOW. I heard this morning that by (before) November 2nd that two-thirds will have already voted. I think the media should call November 2nd 'Results Day' and not election day ;)
And all the talking heads talk about 'will this or that be able to sway the votes by November 2nd' is silly too - since people are voting now!

4. I think the OP means that by election day one third |
|
of voters will have voted. That's the statistic that I've seen tossed around in various articles.

8. No early voting in my state :( |

Unless you file an absentee ballot. I wish we had early voting in Mass.

11. I always vote on Election Day |
|
Two reasons for this:
1. I'm an election judge. 2. I get to use a paper ballot.

12. I voted last weekend. All those phone calls and mailers are useless. |
|
I'm still trying to figure out why I got a robo-call message on my answering machine encouraging me to vote for a Republican. I've never been a Republican; I'm a registered Democrat. What phone list did I end up on?
