"You Lie" Wilson still 7 points ahead of Miller in S.C. |
|
http://www.thesunnews.com/2010/10/16/1756128/poll-wilson-leads-by-7.html WASHINGTON -- Republican Rep. Joe Wilson and Democratic challenger Rob Miller could be headed for a repeat finish of their 2008 race as a new poll shows the congressman up by 7 points over the former Marine Corps captain in the nation's richest race.
The 46-39 percent margin for Wilson in a poll commissioned by the Miller campaign roughly mirrors the 54-46 percent outcome when the two men faced off two years ago.
Earlier surveys by Anzalone Liszt Research, a Montgomery, Ala., firm, showed Wilson, of Lexington, leading Miller, from Beaufort, by 15 points in May and by 10 points in September.
Gaah - I want Miller to win so bad. You Lie has it coming. And he will just be even more emboldened to act a damn fool if the Repugs take the house.

But can he close that tiny gap? Also on his conference call earlier this week the campaign didn't seem to have a quick response to an African American woman from his district that is convinced there is going to problems for blacks being able to vote/challenges.

11. You can't take polls too seriously. |
|
The best a poll can do is show if a candidate at least has a reasonable chance of winning. So this one is good news.
I hope his campaign has plenty of poll watchers in black precincts.

5. He picked a terrible year to run |
|
His prospects could be far better in 2012 with presidential level turnout.
After running a losing twice in a row you start to look a little like a gadfly.

Add the nut job witch, Angle, Bachmann and a few others who I want to forget this election is the craziest I've ever seen.
Wilson needs a macaca moment.
