The People want the Democrats to be tough
Congress' approval ratings rose dramatically several weeks ago, right at the same time their opposition to Bush was at it's strongest.

Now, they've become conciliatory, and guess what? They're about approval ratings are slightly higher than Bush's.

Wake up Pelosi and Reid, the People want you to fight against this quagmire and they want you to fight against Bush.

Which of these things would have been too bitter to the Founders to let stand?
